NBA season is officially back, and this season feels special. Why? LeBron James and his son, Bronny James! The LeBron and Bronny duo is something else, and I’m here for it.

I haven’t been following the NBA too closely these last few years. I keep up enough to stay in the loop and chime in when people talk about it, but I don’t have time to watch every game. Maybe one game a week, at best. I mostly follow the stats and watch the highlights. Speaking of highlights, things have changed! Back in the day, you had to wake up early to catch them on TSN or ESPN. Now, all the main highlights are on Twitter and TikTok, complete with the best commentary.

I’m curious about what the Raptors can pull off this season. If they win even 35 games, that’d be huge—a big W! Obviously, they’re not headed to the playoffs. Everyone keeps bringing up the Kawhi Leonard era and what could have been. It is what it is. We got one championship, and I’m happy with that. But I wonder when our next big break will be. Feels like we’re ten years away from being ten years away again. Oh well!

Who do you guys think will win it all this season? Honestly, I think Boston has a good shot if they can repeat what they did last year. And I love Anthony Edwards; he’s one of the most entertaining players in my mind, so I’d love to see the Timberwolves make some noise. But honestly, it seems pretty wide open right now. It’s just the start of the season, though. Later on, we’ll probably look back and say, “Yeah, that was obvious.”
