We Getting More Arcane!? - Monday!
Good morning, everyone! You can almost see my breath, that’s how chilly it is. It’s Monday, and I hope you’re all having a great start to the week. We had a good run, maybe a month and a half of smooth drop-offs, but today we were back to tears at school. No wailing, thankfully, so that’s a plus! Tomorrow’s a new day, and we start again.
Anyway, I don’t know how many of you are into animation or video games, but Arcane Season 2 was amazing! I saw some complaints and criticisms, and I get where they’re coming from. But apart from one scene that felt a bit out of place, everything else in the show was incredible. I can’t wait for more! I learned that they’re making more shows in that universe, with new characters but the same writing, music, and overall composition. It’s freaking amazing. I haven’t seen anything like this since Spider-Verse, which was only a year ago, I guess. This year has been good for TV; we had Shogun earlier. Time is just melding together right now. But overall, it’s been a great year for TV. I don’t watch too much; I’ve only watched, like, four shows, but the ones I’ve seen have been fire.
I wish more video games got the Arcane level of treatment. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was really good. The Last of Us on HBO is okay, but I think Titanfall/Apex would be prime candidates for something like this. They have so many characters with so much lore. I wish Halo had something great in the TV verse, but whatever. I feel like Titanfall could really deliver something. If I were Amazon or Apple looking for my Arcane, I’d be bidding crazy amounts of money to get the IP rights for Titanfall/Apex right now. It would be incredible. Someone just needs to do it because I love great TV!
Anyway, Arcane is coming back—well, not Arcane specifically, but the League of Legends universe will live on Netflix, which is amazing. Have a great day, everyone! Peace!
