They Caught Luigi Mangione - Tuesday!

Good morning, it’s Tuesday! I think I jinxed it yesterday. I said they were nowhere near closing in on him and were just throwing up these false flags to scare him into making a mistake. Well, they caught him! I don’t know if the false flags worked or if they really were onto him, but they caught the dude.

The United Healthcare CEO assassin, Luigi Mangione, was caught at McDonald’s! Someone joked that Mario isn’t going to be too happy about this. Another person commented that the name is so stereotypically Italian, it’s something J.K. Rowling would have picked for a character in Harry Potter.

It makes a case for using self-checkout kiosks or the app instead of going to the cashier, because the cashier snitched and called the cops! The cops came and found him, and he didn’t try running or wasn’t too distressed. The internet is having a field day trying to figure out who this guy is, picking him apart, analyzing which books he read, and trying to find a motive. Apparently, they found a manifesto on him, so I’m sure they got the right guy if that’s who they were looking for.

It’s crazy because one of the weird things I found about the internet was that before they knew who this guy was, and he was a mystery, everyone kind of claimed him as their own, like he was everyone’s folk hero. Now that they’ve caught him, they’ve started scouring his social media and going through everything he’s ever posted. People are putting him in these boxes: “Oh, he was MAGA!” “Oh, he was a tech bro!” “Oh, he wasn’t progressive enough!”

People need to figure out whether or not they like him. They have to figure out what all his politics are. They can’t just leave it at, “Yo, this is what he did, we like this deed or we don’t like this deed.” It has to be, “Who are you as a complete person before we pick on whether or not we like you or not?”

I feel like Elon Musk kind of went through this, because he was the left’s darling when they thought he was this environmentalist making electric cars that was going to solve global warming. Then all of a sudden, they saw his politics and they’re like, “No, we hate you!” People are complicated, man. We keep trying to put these people in these partisan boxes, these arbitrary lines of whether or not you’re good or bad. Accept the good and the bad in people. People are this combination of everything. Some things you might like about a person, some things you might not like about a person.

Accept the deed, if you like the deed. If you like certain aspects of a person, like those! Don’t be ashamed to say, “Yo, just because you’re this or that…” I don’t know, maybe there are certain things where you draw the line, like, “Alright, I like you, but you’re a racist, so I’m not going to like you that much.” Or, “I like you, and that one thing you did was cool, but that other thing…yo, you’re [__] rat for that.” But sometimes it’s enough for me. I just feel like we get over-partisan with a lot of these things, and we dilute people to these very defined little boxes. I guess we all need our own little rubric of what those are.

Anywho, Luigi, they caught you, man. Hopefully, you got a good lawyer. Till then, take it easy, peace!

Ai Header Image Prompt: Abstract digital art banner. High quality, high resolution, with intricate detail. A dynamic composition featuring an interplay of fragmented, translucent geometric shapes and flowing, luminous data streams. These shapes evoke the idea of societal 'boxes' and categorization, some appearing to break apart while others attempt to contain vibrant, fluid energy. The color palette incorporates shifting gradients and cool, subtle digital glows, symbolizing the complexity and changing perceptions of human identity within a networked world. Subtle elements suggest a digital network or a sense of observation, without being literal. The overall aesthetic is modern, thought-provoking, and somewhat ethereal, avoiding any overtly AI-generated look. No human figures, hands, or limbs are present. No text overlay.
