Good morning, it’s Monday! Things are pretty crazy here in Canada. Our government is basically imploding right now with cabinet ministers leaving, which is insane. I’m not going to dive deep into politics, but something I was reading over the weekend really struck me.

Whether it’s the left or the right winning, the other side always seems to think, ‘These people are idiots!’ When Trump won, liberals couldn’t believe it. And when the left wins, the right accuses them of economic incompetence. Everyone thinks the other side is full of morons. But what if, just maybe, those people have different interests and priorities that don’t perfectly align with yours?

It’s weird how politics pits people against each other, making it seem like if you don’t agree, you’re either a bigot or an idiot. So, be mindful when judging others. They come from different backgrounds and have different priorities. Try to understand what those priorities are and why they hold them.

This idea that everyone’s an idiot except you is just ego. Shed that ego! Open yourself up to seeing things from their perspective. And even if you try that and still think they’re wrong, just chill. Relax. The world will keep spinning. Recognize that everyone has different voices in their head, different influences. Sometimes, you just have to let it flow.

Appreciate where people come from. It’s becoming rare these days because if you don’t agree, you’re labeled something awful. We use big words to describe people in bad ways that don’t really mean much anymore. Anyway, have a great day, and I’ll catch you in the next one. Peace!
