Dream House Hunting - Sunday!

What’s up, beautiful people! How are you all doing? It’s Sunday, and it’s a bit nippy out, but we’ve got the day off. Yesterday, we hit up some open houses, checking out places in neighborhoods we thought might be a step up. But honestly, we realized they weren’t much of an improvement. We’re pretty happy where we are, and sometimes you just gotta see that the grass isn’t always greener to appreciate what you’ve already got.

It got me thinking, though: what is my dream house? What’s that ultimate scenario of where I want to be? I’ve got a few things in mind. I’d love a ravine back lot, so you’re looking out onto nature, no backyard neighbors. Not that my current neighbors are bad, it’s just nice having that extra privacy. And I’d like a bit more land, like an acre at least. That’s rare around here unless you’ve got serious cash, which, you know, we’ve got some money, but not lots of money. Still, no complaints!

What else? Like, five bedrooms, two basements, and a walk-out basement. That’s another thing I want – an above-ground basement would be awesome, though that limits certain locations. And yeah, that’s kind of where I’m at. Oh, and another kitchen! I need a bigger, nicer kitchen. I actually spend a lot of time in the kitchen, cooking with Shinda, so I want it to be a great space. What else? That’s about it, really. Four or five bedrooms upstairs. Man, that house sounds massive already just thinking about it!

But that’s where I’m at. What do you guys think? What’s your dream house? What’s the thing you’re working towards? Let me know in the comments!
