No More Time 🥲 - Friday!

Good afternoon, everyone. It’s late, yeah, just one of those late days. I can’t even deny it. There’s nothing to say, we’re late. But hey, it is Friday! Fridays feel different when you’re already on holiday. You don’t know what to make of them; you’re just like, ‘It’s another day.’ We got another week of holidays, and then we’re back on the work grind.

Holidays are wild when your kids are sick, man. You just end up nursing them, and it’s kind of like, ‘Man, I wish I was at work!’ I’m not going to lie; I miss working right now. At least then I could have my own space.

Parenthood is weird because parenthood is basically you giving up your time for your kids. That’s just how it is; that’s what it’s supposed to be, so you can’t really be complaining about it. But at the same time, man, you miss having your time. You miss having the freedom to do whatever you want.

I kind of got to this point because I was playing Rivals a lot last week when my kids were in school, and now that they’re back home, I haven’t been able to play much of it. So, I’m like, ‘Oh man, I’m getting sad I’m not able to play video games at the same pace,’ because obviously I got to give my kids my time first. You miss some of your time, man, but it is what it is.

Obviously, when you get married, your time goes to your wife, and then you get kids, now you have less of it. Then they all, you know, move on and everyone gets older, and then you get your time back. That’s just how it goes. So, you got to enjoy what you got, man, but you can miss it sometimes; you just got to miss it. Anyways, have a great one, man! Until the next one, peace.

Ai Header Image Prompt: High quality, high level of detail, abstract digital art. A conceptual visualization of personal time being enveloped by familial responsibilities. The central focus is a soft, warm, glowing, and expanding amorphous form, rendered with gentle, flowing digital brushstrokes, symbolizing the all-encompassing nature of family and children. From the periphery, sharp, structured lines and fragmented geometric shapes, subtly reminiscent of digital data streams or pixelated game elements, are being gently yet inevitably drawn into and dissolved by this central form. Some fragments of these digital elements are still distinct, resisting the pull, while others are already becoming integrated into the larger mass. The background is a dark, expansive digital void, with subtle, ethereal light trails suggesting the relentless passage of time. The overall mood conveys a sense of melancholic acceptance and the bittersweet surrender of personal freedom. Colors: Dominant soft oranges, warm yellows, and comforting purples for the central family mass, contrasting with cooler blues, greens, and sharp reds for the dissolving personal time elements. Emphasize textured brushwork, digital grain, and dynamic depth to avoid an overtly AI-generated appearance. No human figures or discernible limbs.
