What Comics Do I Need To Read!? - Saturday!
What is good, everyone! It’s Saturday and as you can see, we’re getting hammered with snow. They’re saying another two feet right now, with another foot tomorrow, so that’s going to be a blast to deal with.
Anyways, I’ve kind of slipped back into my comic book phase. I’ve never been a crazy comic book collector, but I do read the big volumes, especially anything by Frank Miller and Scott McCloud. I just finished reading City of Owls yesterday, the Batman book, and I was like, “Oh man, this was sick!” Such a sick story. I’ll talk about that one in a different post.
But yeah, I’m back on my comic book side. I’ve got like four new books that I want to read. I want to finish reading Death of the Turtles. Uh, I got to finish that. I also need to grab some Doctor Doom books. Everyone’s telling me, “Yo, you don’t read Doom?” Like, no, I’ve never read Doom! So they’re like, “Yo, you gotta get the Doom books!”
And then I just finished watching the Moon Knight TV series, which I slept on because I was just totally comic booked out. Now I want to get all the, I want to get like a few good Moon Knight books in because Moon Knight is a super interesting character.
What am I missing? Oh! I gotta get Death of Spider-Man. That one’s a big one that everyone’s talking about. Got to get Death of Spider-Man. There are just so many books that I’ve got to read, man!
Are there any books that you think I should read? I haven’t read anything in like the last 10 years. What came out in the last 10 years that it’s like, “Yo, if you haven’t read this, you got to go read this!” What is that right now, man? Just what I need, another hobby! And now I’ve got to go find a place where I can find comic books because I hate freaking paying full-on retail for these. Like, I need to find a used comic book store somewhere. It’s insane!
So is this weather, man. Oh, by the way, it’s Saturday! I don’t even know if I said that. Anyways, hopefully you guys are having a dope ass day! Till the next one, peace!
