Snowblowers Vs Shovels?!?- Monday!

What is good, everyone! Hope y’all are doing well. It’s a beautiful Monday – Family Day for some, President’s Day for others, and a holiday somewhere for everyone, it seems. The snow has finally stopped here, which is great, but now it’s getting chilly and starting to pack in. So, if you haven’t already, get out there and shovel your driveways and check those pipes!

I saw this debate raging, and I had to weigh in: snowblowers. Where do I stand on snowblowers? If you’re under 50 and able-bodied, you have no business using a snowblower unless you have more than two properties or driveways. You’ve got to shovel! But if you’re under 50 and using a snowblower, man, I think you’re soft, I’m going to be honest with you.

Growing up, I always wanted a snowblower, but my dad was like, “What? I got two boys! Why the hell do I need a snowblower for?” And yes, shoveling snow sucks, it’s supposed to suck! I feel like a lot of guys these days are just like, “Well, I got a snowblower, man.” And what’s the argument? “Well, you use a lawnmower!” I don’t know, I just feel like if you’re young and you’ve got some strength, use this as a cardio day! There are dudes who will literally use a snowblower and then go to the gym. What are you even doing at the gym, brother? Just shovel the snow; it’s not that hard!

Now, these new snow shovels are kind of cool – the ones you push forward and they just launch the snow. But I feel like if I was using that, it would just piss my neighbors off because I’d constantly be throwing snow into their yards. I don’t know, man. I’m pretty set that my kids aren’t getting snowblowers as long as I’m able. I’m going to make them shovel. They’ve got to go through the whole shoveling process.

Where do you guys stand on this? Do you think there should be rules? Like, if you have a three-car garage, you can snowblow one, but two-car garages and below? Shovel only! That’s kind of where I’m at. Anything else? You’re just soft. Sorry, I didn’t make those rules. Unless it snows more than five or six times where you live, then I guess snowblowers make sense. But if we only get four big snows, then screw all the rules. If you’re under 50 and using a snowblower, you’re soft. That’s where I’m at. Anyway, till the next one, take it easy, peace!

Ai Header Image Prompt: High quality, high detail, abstract digital art. A dynamic visual metaphor representing the contrast between strenuous manual effort and effortless automation, set within a cool, crisp winter-inspired color palette. The composition features two distinct halves: one side is characterized by sharp, fractured crystalline forms, jagged lines, and intense, vibrant cool tones of deep blues and stark whites, conveying raw power, physical exertion, and demanding work, with a texture that feels unyielding and resistant. The other side consists of smooth, flowing gradients, soft, undulating curves, and translucent, ethereal whites and light grays, evoking effortless motion, mechanical precision, and a sense of seamless gliding. A subtle, abstract rift or energetic tension line subtly divides these contrasting elements. The overall aesthetic is sharp and cool, hinting at a cold winter environment without depicting any literal snow, shovels, snowblowers, or human figures. The artwork should possess unique digital textures and a complex, intricate design, carefully avoiding any overtly AI-generated visual patterns.
