Seven Sizzling Sausage's - Marcel Bounces Back
Okay, so I’m a huge, but casual, battle rap fan. I only really see the stuff that goes viral and lands the real knockout punches. And this ‘Seven Sizzling Sausages’ thing from the Che3kz vs. Marcel battle? It was everywhere! The first time I heard it, I was losing it. It’s one of the greatest disses, and the fact that they stopped the battle to laugh at how hard that punchline hit was amazing.
So, yeah, Marcel got owned in that moment. His third verse was dark, like really dark. But here’s the thing: when you’re going viral for all the wrong reasons, you’ve got two choices. You can go quiet, take the L, and try to come back later (knowing everyone’s going to bring that battle up again). Or, you can do what Marcel did: own the insult. He rode that wave, and while riding the wave is super dangerous (because if you don’t do it right, you just own an even bigger L), he crushed it. He dropped a song, and it’s fire.

This is the “Seven Sizzling Sausages Freestyle” by Marcel. He didn’t need to flex with a Lamborghini to show he’s still paid. He just dropped this track. The flow is crazy, the wordplay is wild (seashells by the seashore!), and he’s owning it. He’s turning that L around with some straight Judo. He did what he needed to do, and I respect it.
He basically Uno reversed the situation. He was about to lose, it went viral, but then he added ‘on a Sunday’ to the mix. “Seven Sizzling Sausages Sizzling in a Sauce Pond on a Sunday” - you gotta say it with that England-y vibe!
That’s how you take an L and flip it into a W. Ryan the wave. Straight Judo. He reversed it, Uno’d it back into the air. He’s so sick! He’s taking the bricks his enemies threw at him and building his castle. That’s insane.
I even struggled to say “Seven Sizzling Sausages Sizzling in a Sauce Pond” and “Seashells by the Seashore Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” without the beat. Marcel turned his L’s into W’s, playing the reverse Uno card. Mad respect!
