I have this whole freaking Gretzky coffee book I remember getting and trying to get that signed was amazing.

It’s wild, though. I can’t remember a person’s fall from grace as much as Gretzky’s. Like, Gretzky was beloved here, and he probably still is. I don’t know if it’s fully accepted, if everyone’s signed up for this. Some people are like, yeah, we can’t give this guy. Another thing that’s not great is he still hasn’t accepted his Order of Canada. It’s been like 10 years now, and everyone’s like, yo, we need to just revoke it at this point. Like, this guy just does not care about us and us putting him on this mantle. It’s time to just disown him.

It’s kind of wild, just like the guy who freaking led Team Canada to World Championships, and all of a sudden, now no one, everyone’s like, yo, it’s time to get rid of him. The fall from grace. If he could fall like that, man, what’s that say for the rest of us? I guess it means just don’t align yourself with anti- or it just means don’t align yourself with fascists, and you should be good.
